On the morning of April 1, Mr. Nicholas Pomfret, Mayor of Princeton, UK, and his wife Mrs. Barbara Pomfret, along with Ms. Yu Feixia, President of UCLan Confucius Institute and Mr. Andrew Grice, a teacher of UCLan visited CUPES and were received by Vice President Xie Jun of CUPES. Mr. Zhou Zhihua, Dean of School of Martial Arts and Performance, and Mr. Wang Gaohua, Dean of School of International Education as well as Mr. Zuo Wei, deputy director of . General Administration Office took part in the meeting.

At the meeting, both sides talked about how to develop a further cooperation between UCLan and CUPES as well as how to promote Chinese martial arts in Princeton. Afterward, the two sides exchanged gifts and took group photos with students from UCLan.

Finally, accompanied by Mr. Zuo Wei, Mayor Pomfret with his delegation members visited the dance classroom, gym, swimming pool and heavy sports pavilion, and was deeply impressed by the high-quality facilities of CUPES.
